Kahn - Tactics

General Tactics

Kahn is a strong fighter with healing and support magic abilities. Although he starts off pretty weak, once his levels build up so too does his attack power, which eventually becomes one of the highest in scenario 1. As such, keep him in the front lines to attack the enemy and cast the occasional healing spell. However, if you only have room for just the one monk, put Kahn back into the reserves and use Irene instead as her range of magic is much superior to Kahn's.

Magic and Magic Resistance

Kahn specialises in light and support magic, he has Heal, Support and Slow in his repertoire. Heal is useful at first but later on, Aura users hog all the healing (however Grace is the only character who learns Aura), but Heal is still very effective at raising levels. Support is a handy spell if your force needs to raise their agility and/or defence. However, Slow is a pretty useless spell as it effectively makes the enemies easier to kill, but if you want to make the enemies easier to kill it's better to cast an Attack spell as the effects don't wear off when the enemy dies, therefore Slow is really only useful in decreasing the enemy's agility which isn't all that brilliant an effect.

Kahn's magic support is pretty meagre but it improves a little with promotion. Unforunately it is still pretty weak after the promotion so Kahn is another one of those characters that will benefit nicely from a good old Resist spell.

Weapons and Equipment

Cestus' may be Kahn's starting weapon but they are easily the worst Monk weapons in scenario 1 with only one of them giving bonus' to magic power - the Mist Cestus. Therefore, stick to the claws and gloves, especially the gloves for casting magic as the Spark Glove and Pretty Glove both give B class magic bonus'.

To boost Kahn's attack power more and to take benefit of the Attack spell over the Slow spell, equip Kahn with a trusty Attack Ring.
